I worked with an eating disorder recovery coach to create a website that feels both professional and personal, a true reflection of her supportive, experience-led approach to coaching and recovery.

Music website design for Ryan Deakin Music

This project involved designing and developing a calm, supportive, and welcoming online space for LV Recovery, an eating disorder coaching service focused on recovery through honesty, empathy, and lived understanding. The aim was to create a site that feels safe and human-led, while still maintaining clarity, structure, and professionalism.

The website was built to balance personal storytelling with clear service information, helping visitors feel understood while also being able to easily access support options. I designed dedicated service pages and product pages to clearly outline offerings, along with structured layouts that guide users gently through the site without feeling overwhelming.

To build trust and encourage ongoing engagement, I also integrated a mailing list system with automated email flows. When users sign up, they receive a free downloadable recovery guide straight to their inbox, creating an immediate sense of value and support from the very first interaction.

Beyond the core pages, I developed a full member area where users can access paid monthly content. This included designing a subscription-based structure that supports ongoing recovery resources, giving LV Recovery a scalable way to offer continued guidance and community support.

From a development perspective, the site was built using Squarespace with custom CSS applied throughout to improve layout, spacing, and overall user experience. This included enhanced table designs, refined content blocks, and subtle styling improvements to ensure readability and emotional ease when navigating sensitive content.

Additional UX considerations were implemented across the site to ensure a smooth and reassuring journey for users, particularly those accessing the service during vulnerable moments. The design prioritises clarity, gentle flow, and minimal friction throughout.

The final result is a thoughtfully designed, story-led website that supports both free and paid user journeys. LV Recovery now has a digital platform that not only communicates its message clearly but also provides a structured, scalable system for coaching, content delivery, and community support.
