The brief
Catbird Seat is a London creative agency founded by industry leaders Larissa Vince and Andy Jex, whose careers include leading roles at TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Fallon and Mother. They strip away traditional agency bloat to deliver pure strategic and creative thinking, and needed a creative agency website that reflected that lean, no-nonsense approach. The brief was a minimal, high-impact one-page site that used their distinctive logo and colour palette to set them apart from legacy agency models.
What I built
I designed and built a clean, single-page Squarespace website that communicates Catbird Seat's core proposition the moment visitors arrive, using clear, channel-agnostic messaging. From there, the page explains their flexible delivery model, showing how the senior team plugs directly into in-house talent, specialist agencies or AI setups.
Visitors can then learn about the founders' track record leading top creative agencies, and see the practical benefits of a faster, leaner model without production markups. An accordion FAQ answers real-world client questions on pitching, pricing and AI, and the page closes with the story behind the Catbird Seat name and logo, giving the site a memorable finish.
The approach
To capture the agency's straightforward personality, I created an ultra-clean layout with intentional whitespace, strong typography and a clear visual hierarchy. Guided by their bold branding, the page flows from the headline offer through founder credentials, client benefits and FAQs. Custom CSS makes interactive elements like the FAQ toggles smooth, responsive and seamless on every screen size.
The result
A sharp, confident one-page website that positions Catbird Seat as an enviable alternative to traditional agencies. Visitors quickly grasp who they are, how they work and why their streamlined approach delivers better value, and the founders now have a professional platform that matches their expertise and makes it easy for ambitious clients to get in touch.
