Custom-built logistics website for a 50-year-old company

This project involved designing and developing a fully custom Squarespace website for a long-established logistics company with over 50 years of industry experience. The goal was to modernise their online presence while clearly presenting their services and making it easier for potential customers to request quotes and submit enquiries. The client required a professional, trustworthy website that reflected their long-standing reputation in the logistics sector while remaining simple and easy to navigate.

I designed and built the entire website from scratch, handling both the creative direction and technical development. This included creating bespoke page layouts tailored to the client’s services, as well as structuring the site’s navigation and overall user flow to improve clarity and usability. The website was fully optimised for all devices, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Alongside the build, I also developed all website content, writing and structuring copy to clearly communicate services and value. Multiple service pages and SEO-focused landing pages were created to improve search visibility for key logistics-related terms, helping increase organic traffic and online reach.

To support lead generation, I integrated custom enquiry and contact forms linked directly to the client’s email system, making it simple for users to request quotes and get in touch. These were designed to be user-friendly and conversion-focused, reducing friction throughout the enquiry process.

In addition, I created supporting graphics and social media visuals to maintain a consistent brand identity across platforms. The overall design approach focused on professionalism, clarity, and trust, ensuring the business is presented in a strong and credible way online.
