I worked with Ryan Deakin, a folk musician based in Warrington, Cheshire, to create a vibrant and playful Squarespace website that reflects his personality, showcases his music, and helps fans connect with his work on and off stage.

Music website design for Ryan Deakin Music

This project involved full website design for Ryan Deakin, a UK-based folk singer, animator and visual artist. The brief was to build a fun, bold and quirky website that feels personal and energetic, something that matched his creative style and helped bring together all aspects of his work in one place.

The site integrates embedded music players from Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and YouTube, making it easy for visitors to listen to his tracks from wherever they are. A custom-coded countdown timer was added to promote upcoming live events and gigs, giving the homepage a dynamic, ever-changing focal point.

Using Ryan’s existing branding; logo, colour palette and fonts, I designed a cohesive layout that feels unique and recognisably him. The site includes a dedicated page for his illustration and animation work (including album artwork), where visitors can both view his visuals and play the related tracks directly on the page. It also features an About section and contact form to allow fans and collaborators to get in touch with ease.
